Boat Usage
For those new to sailing, and who have not yet purchased their own boat, Killaloe Sailing Club has a small fleet of club dinghies available to use.
These boats are available to book on a first come first served basis booking can be completed here . This entails booking the boat you wish to use, for any specific date, that same week.
It is important that you book in advance as there are a limited number of boats and there is no guarantee that there will be a boat available.
Currently, the club has the following dinghies available to book:
- RS Vision 1
- RS Vision 2
- RS Vision 3
- RS Zest 1
- RS Zest 2
- RS Zest 3
- RS Feva
- Laser 1
If you wish to book a club boat for a specific date, please book online in the Members section of this website, within 7 days of the date.
Boat Storage
Killaloe Sailing Club provides dinghy parking facilities at the Club to encourage active sailing from March to November. The Club does not operate as a long term boat storage facility.
Members who have fully paid up membership at the start of the sailing season are given priority for parking their boats on-site.
All boats parked at Killaloe Sailing Club must have a valid boat insurance certificate. This is confirmed on the membership application form at the time of membership renewal.
