Killaloe Sailing Club, with its modern and bright clubhouse facilities, overlooking beautiful Lough Derg, welcomes students from surrounding schools for various Sailing Education Programmes.
Facilities include conference room for classroom-based theory instruction, changing rooms, toilets, showers, dinghy boats, qualified instructors, safety cover.
If you are connected to a nearby school (primary or secondary), please reach out to us and together we can develop a Programme to suit your class timings, day of week, time of year, etc., as we understand it is different for each school/ year.
Numbers are limited for each calendar year.
Killaloe Sailing Club will provide buoyancy aids and wetsuits, but if students have their own, we advise that they bring them, in addition to bootees or old runners they do not mind getting wet. Layers and woolly hat are advisable for students depending on the time of year also, as it is quite likely they will get wet.
